As a vase contains and displays a flower, so does a ring contain and value a finger. The jewellery we wear gives others a sense of our inner feelings. Jewelery can provide a bridge between the very personal and intimate and the public space. The jewelery box is part of the ritual of arranging, discovering or rediscovering the object inside.
