Vases

A twin object. They are not the same but equal. Oppositions of physical, symbolic and poetic perceptions are contained in these objects.
The first generation made of silver and alabaster refers to the feminine, while the second generation made of jade and gold constitutes the male symbol. When holding one piece in each hand we can experience different qualities:
1st the weight: the piece of silver or gold is heavier than the one carved in alabaster or jade.
2nd the temperature: the stone remains cool, while metal becomes warm.
3rd the appearance: the two metals are opaque, while the two stones are translucent.
